Accessibility at Etihad Arena

Etihad Arena is built to be used by everyone: accessible seating is offered for every event, the building is step-free between levels, and there is dedicated parking and drop-off close to the doors. Here is what to expect, and what to sort out in advance.

Accessible seating

Disability seating is available for all events at the arena. Because the bowl is reconfigured for every show, the exact position of wheelchair spaces changes with the layout — which is why these places are arranged with the venue’s concierge team rather than picked off a fixed map.

If you need accessible seating, contact the arena’s concierge team once you know which event you are attending, and confirm the seating position for that specific configuration.

Parking and drop-off

Designated accessible parking bays are provided, and there is a dedicated pick-up and drop-off area for guests with reduced mobility, so the walk from the car to the entrance stays short. Parking is complimentary in the arena’s facilities on officially scheduled event days.

Moving around inside

Lifts and escalators serve every level of the arena, so no tier requires stairs. Accessible restrooms are available on every level except the mezzanine, on both the north and south sides of the building — worth noting when you choose where to sit.

Before you buy tickets

Two things are worth doing in advance: check the event page for age limits and start times, and speak to the venue about accessible seating for that event. Everything else — bag rules, ID, no re-entry — applies as it does to any other guest.
